OVERVIEW
Renice Jones of Global Crafts Florida U.S.A.
sent me 2 GMails on 18th December of 2017
2:40 pm (364 words) and 3:37 pm (382 words)
I responded to her thoughts, one-thread-per-theme.
This was our last of several exchanges; just before
being notified that the studio IP had been blocked.
This text is me quoting Renice back to her,
and responding to what she had just written:
18 December 2017 EMail from Renice Jones (Global Crafts): “When Caitie first visited, she brought a sample costing sheet and worked through the costing of product with the women. “They needed to do costing before I could consider placing an order.” “To ensure we are paying a fair price on any future orders, we will need costing for each product type and can supply a template.” “In hindsight, we should have insisted on reviewing costing analyses as most fair trade suppliers see before buying. But as Art Camp was once an FTF member, we assumed that they understood about fair trade pricing.”
Please help me understand this principle you are making reference to:
As an example, if cost of materials for a given piece = two dollars
How is this fair price derived? Thank you for explaining this to me.
Answer from Global Crafts: None.
This is my LAST reply to Renice’s GMails 17 December 2017
My reply is to her reference to the visit of Caitie.
